Exer

The Exer, with its almost 9,000m², offers enough space for many different activities, such as the large artificial turf pitch where the local VfL Oldesloe as well as plenty of other recreational footballers come together every day to play football. There is also a skate park where skaters can let off steam. In addition, there is a parkour course where you can do various sports exercises. The Exer is only a three-minute walk from the city center. Therefore, many use the parking lot located there to park their car and shop in the city. The square is also often used for local folk festivals, circuses, or other events such as Vogelschießen. For example, I used the parkour square a lot as an alternative gym during the time when everything was closed because of the Corona pandemic. Also, I met many of my current friends through the different opportunities to do sports there, like playing football. My grandma and I also love to go to the circus together, which is set up there several times a year.
